Reading Program - Reverse Reading Program

This event last took place on Apr 11th, 2025
9:30 AM EST ( 930R)

For years, the USO Reading Program has allowed service members to record themselves reading stories for their children to enjoy while their parent was serving our nation abroad. USO Fort Drum is now excited to invite you to join us for a “Reverse Reading Program” to mark the midpoint of 1st Brigade’s deployment! For the week of 7-1 April, military kids can read their favorite story for their deployed parent. We will provide you with a link for that electronic recording, which can be accessed as needed. We’ll have snacks, refreshments, and arts and crafts activities, as well!

We will also have special snacks for the kids, and those coming on the 27th of March will also get to meet Charlie, our Therapy Dog!
