A quick stop in Times Square!
Thank you for lunch, Bar Dough and The Old Tattered Flag!
Visiting the Bryant Park Winter Village.
Yesterday, USO Fort Hamilton and West Point came together for a joint USO Coffee Connection in New York City!
After learning that many spouses were not comfortable visiting Manhattan via public transportation, USO Staff at Fort Hamilton and West Point came together to coordinate a special Coffee Connection in New York City. Spouses were shown tips and tricks on taking the MTA Bus and Metro North train from their respective locations into the heart of New York.
Once in the city, spouses were shown the holiday hot spots. From the Bryant Park Winter Village to the world famous Rockefeller Christmas Tree. Lunch was provided by The Old Tattered Flag at Bar Dough, a veteran owned Italian restaurant near Times Square! We even celebrated a spouses first New York City trip on her birthday, singing happy birthday with some special treats!
We had such a fun day with spouses from the area and look forward to future Coffee Connections!
From all of us a USO New York, Happy Holidays!
