Welcome To The Team, West Point Volunteers!
In 2022, USO expanded it’s reach to West Point, opening our admin office and providing programming to the Garrison supporting the United States Military Academy. As part of the opening, USO welcomed the volunteers to join the West Point team to help accomplish the USO missions at it’s newest location.
While there is not a traditional USO center at West Point, volunteers assist with regularly scheduled programming through the year. Volunteers take the lead on programs like USO Coffee Connections, USO Storytime, and many more. Volunteers assist staff by creating crafts, attending outreach events, or reading to kids! While the USO is based on West Point, volunteers also help at Stewart Air Base and Camp Smith, providing support at monthly drill weekends.
The USO could not accomplish it’s mission without the support of these volunteers. Thank you to those who have signed up to give their time to our service through the USO!
